- W2363209872 abstract "Objective To compare two nutrition support schemes for postoperative patients with laryngeal carcinoma.Methods Forty patients from 2002 to 2005 with laryngeal carcinoma were randomly divided into PN(control) group and EN group.The PN group was given amino acid compound(18F) 500～700 ml and 20% fat emulsion 500 ml per day, and EN group was given enteral nutrition 500 ml in the first day and then increase 500 ml each day to remain at 2 000～2 500 ml for 14 days.Results The EN group had a significant increase in TP,Alb and PA while the control group had significant decrease in these indices.There were significant differences between the two groups(P(0.05)).The EN group also had a more slight decrease in body weight and a shorter hospitalization days than those of the control(P0.05).Conclusion EN should be the first choice in nutrition support for postoperative patients with laryngeal carcinoma." @default.
