- W2363614614 abstract "A-stage of AB process was used for low strength ( BOD5 = 100 mg/L) ur ban wastewater treatment. The results showed that when sludge loading in A-stage is 0.5～3 kg BOD5/(kgMLSS·d) and HRT is 75～25 min, the effluent C OD 60 mg /L, BOD5 20 mg/L, and SS 20 mg/L, with good effect achieved. It is because t hat sludge in A-stage has stronger adsorptive flocculation capacity. Meanwhile a long with the increased loading in reactor, dehydrogenase content in sludge is a lso increased, and sludge activity and metabolic ability are augmented. Furtherm ore, due to no primary clarifier being set, the fresh sewage and SS directly flo w into A-stage, and thus sludge settle ability is improved and additional microo rganism can be obtained from the influent, so that sludge concentration can be k ept in reactor." @default.
