- W2363669971 abstract "Objective To evaluate the effect of nitroglycerin and urapidil on relaxing spasm of radial artery in percutaneous radial artery approach for coronary intervention(PCI). Methods 180 patients(mean age: 68±11 years,160 male) on Jan, 2005 to Dec,2006 were collected. All of the 180 patients received percutaneous radial artery approach for coronary intervention and were divided into group A and group B by arterial injection with urapidil or nitroglycerin. The age and gender of patients were no significant difference in two groups. After puncture of the radial artery successfully, the patients in group A were arterial injection urapidil and group B arterial injection nitroglycerin. All of patients received PCI. Observe the incidence of radial arteriospasm. Results As for the two groups, the incidence of radial arteriospasm was 2.22 percent(2/90) vs 12.22 percent(11/90). This difference was significant and had statistical significance(P0.05). Conclusion The urapidil is better than nitroglycerin in relaxing spasm of radial artery." @default.
