First, we examine about the meaning of cooperative learning and approach direction of teaching and the way to revitalize it in five points of view. If the cooperative learning materializes in this way, everyone got his role without any exception and he realized he does something for the class. While students study in this way, they becomes pleased voluntarily. If learning comes to this stage, communication and consideration between student and student, teacher and student comes true and students’ personalities grow up naturally. And if teaching comes to not participate in gifted children but participate in all students, it is basic direction of teaching in collaborative learning. Students can feel the happiness while they learn in this cooperative learning and can realize the true worth through the result that they achieved. Education, Kyungpook Univ., 80 Daehakro, Buk-gu, Daegu, Korea email: moojeong75@hanmail.net The search of plan for collaborative learning promotion in school Copyright c 2016 HSST 302 1. 서론 교실에서 이루어지는 수업을 보면 같은 내용을 동일한 방법으로 전 학급의 학생들에게 일제히 가르치는 경우가 많다. 이런 수업으로 말미암아 학습의 방관자가 있게 마련이고, 능력에 따른 배려 가 이루어지지 않아 자연적으로 소외 계층이 생겨나게 마련이다. 또한, 전통적인 학습에서의 경쟁 학습 구조는 한 명 또는 소수의 학생만이 달성할 수 있는 목표를 위하여 학생들 서로를 경쟁상대 로 하여 공부하게 하는 학습 구조이다. 학생들은 상대적으로 성적이 매겨지게 된다. 이 학습 구조 에서 목표 성취 사이에 부정적인 상호 의존성이 존재하면서 학생들이 긍정적인 상호 의존성을 경 험할 수 있는 학습구조의 필요성을 느끼게 된다. 열린 교육의 규칙은 협동적으로 조직된 토론이며, 다양한 소집단을 구성하여 서로에게 배우는 것이다. 즉, 긍정적 상호 의존성을 강조한다는 점에서 협력 학습은 열린 교육과 그 맥을 같이하며 전통적 학습의 취약점을 막아 주는 수업 형태이다. Slavin(1991)[6]에 의하면, 협력학습이란 학생들로 하여금 서로 토론하고 논쟁하면서 궁극적으로 는 서로 상호작용하도록 하는 하나의 프로그램으로 정의하고 있고, Guskey(1990)[7]는 교사에 의해 할당된 학습과제에 대해 이질적인 2~6명의 아동이 집단으로 활동하는 교수형태로 정의내리고 있 다. 또한, Oxford(1997)[9]는 협력학습을 사회 구성주의적 철학을 바탕으로 학습을 사회적 상황에서 지식을 구성하는 것으로 보면서 개인들의 학습집단 속으로의 동화를 유도하는 것이라고 말하고 있 다. 이러한 점을 종합해 볼 때, 협력학습이란 학습자들의 학습 효과를 증대시키기 위해 동등한 위 치에서 동료간의 긍정적인 상호의존을 통해 공동과제를 함께 해결하고 서로를 격려해주는 학습방 법 즉, 학습집단에서 공동 목표를 설정하고 그 목표를 달성하기 위해서 공동 노력하며 다른 구성 원에게 도움을 주고받아 유익한 결과를 모두가 얻고자 하는 교수-학습 전략인 것이다. 결국 협력학습은 공동의 지식을 모둠에서 같이 창출하는 것과 동시에 모둠 구성원들이 서로 가 르치고 배우는 과정이 포함됨으로써 상호작용이 이루어져야 한다(김종석, 1998)[8]. 이에 따라 이 연구는 협력학습의 의미를 이해하고 협력학습이 학교현장에서 활성화 될 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다." @default.
