- W2363881078 abstract "Land subsidence in Beijing has been an ongoing problem for the past four decades(since the later 1970s),which is induced by over-pumping groundwater continuously,becoming a negative effect on the sustainable economic development in plain areas.In this paper,Permanent Scatterers Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar(PS-InSAR)technique is used to detect and measure ground movement in this area(2003-2006).The detail information of deformation shows that spatial extent of subsidence is controlled by geologic structures(Huangzhuang-Gaoliying and Nankou-Sunhe faults).In consideration of a series damages by land subsidence,risk assessment and zoning are very important for risk management.Based on the land subsidence retrieved by PS-InSAR techniques using ASAR data,combining with the present situation of groundwater overexploitation and the thickness of compressive layer,a hazard assessment model of land subsidence in Beijing is established using the AHP-Fuzzy method,the AHP-Fuzzy assessment model is analyzed by using a GIS-based modeling approach.Then,a case study is carried out in Miyun-Huairou-Shunyi area of Beijing.As a result,the risk index of each study area is extracted by means of the AHP-Fuzzy method.Then the risk level of land subsidence is analyzed using the dimensional analytical method.It indicates that the risk of land subsidence in Beijing is indispensable.This result is reasonable and useful for land subsidence disaster prevention and reduction." @default.
