- W2363986305 abstract "A new reagent 5-(2-hydroxy-5-nitrophenylazo)-rhodanine was synthesized. The colour reaction of the new reagent with gold(Ⅲ) was studied. In a H 3PO 4 medium and in the presence of mixed surfactants OP+ CTMAB , gold(Ⅲ) reacts with the new reagent to form an orange 1∶5 complex, having its absorption maxima at 480nm with a mloar absorptivity of 2.0×10 6L·mol -1 ·cm -1 . Beer′s law is obeyed for gold(Ⅲ) in the range of 0～1 2μg/25ml. The proposed method is highly sensitive and selective, which has been applied to the determination of gold(Ⅲ) in waster water with satisfactory results." @default.
