- W2364066003 abstract "The influence of temperature on treatment of landfill leachate by two-stage biological contact oxidation process was studied by experiment.The results show that the average removal rates of COD and NH3-N under the low temperature in the contact oxidation unit are 34% and 26% respectively,which are lower than those under normal temperature due to lower temperature and decrease of microbial metabolic capacity.The low temperature state has a strong inhibition effect on growth rate and activity of nitrobacteria,and the low temperature causes nitrification and denitrification reaction to be difficult.The average removal rate of TP under low temperature is higher than under normal temperature,and the reason is likely that low temperature results in transformation of biological population.The phosphorus accumulating organisms are a kind of psychrophilic bacteria,and they have a higher cell yield.Therefore,the phosphorus removal rate decreases with temperature rise to a certain extent." @default.
