- W2364264218 abstract "Objective It is to observe the effects of NO-1886 on the blood sugar, blood lipid and body mass of experimental obese rabbit models. Methods The New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into four groups in which there were twelve rabbits. Group A was fed with general fodder. Group B was fed with the general fodder for the primal four weeks and then NO-1886 in the proportion of 1.0% was added for the subsequent 24 weeks. Group C was fed with high-sugar and high-lipid fodder (contained 10% lard and 37% sucrose in the general fodder). Group D were fed with the high-sugar and high-lipid fodder for the primal four weeks and then NO-1886 in the proportion of 1% was added for the subsequent 24 weeks. The rabbits’ blood were gathered at the zero, 4th, 8th, 13th, 18th, 23rd, 28th week after treatment and the serum HDL-C, TG, FFAs and sugar were measured respectively. At the end of the experiment, all the rabbits were killed with bleeding and the abdominal fat was separated and weighed. Results Compared with group C after being fed for 28 weeks, the serum sugar, TG and FFAs in group D were obviously lower, the HDL-C in group D was obviously higher, and the abdominal fat was obviously lesser. All the differences were marked (P0.05).Conclusion NO-1886 has the effect of reducing serum sugar, serum lipid and body mass. It can reduce the accumulation of abdominal fat and prevent adiposity." @default.
