- W2364295709 abstract "Objective To compare the vaccine reaction of the local and imported DTaP vaccine. Method 1230 children of 3 months to 2 years old taking the DTaP vaccination in Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital of Tianhe Region in Guangzhou from January to August 2007, were chosen for the study. Their parents have been informed of the safety of the two vaccines and allow them to choose any vaccine for vaccination. The local and whole-body reactions in 24～48 h after vaccination were observed. Result In 725 children vaccinated with the local DTaP vaccine, 84 of them showed local reaction and 108 showed whole-body reaction, with reaction rates of 11.59% and 14.90%, respectively. In 505 children vaccinated with the imported DTaP vaccine, 29 showed local reaction and 41 showed whole-body reaction, with the reaction rates of 5.74% and 8.12%, respectively. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the first, second and third vaccination, but showed significant difference between the two groups in the fourth vaccination. The imported DTaP caused less local and whole-body reactions than domestically produced vaccine in the fourth vaccination. Conclusion The imported DTaP vaccine is proved to be relatively safe and have mild vaccine reactions." @default.
