- W2364494555 abstract "In this paper,the tram wheel put into operation recently in Beijing Qianmen Street was regarded as an object of study,and with the purpose of reducing wheel/rail contact noise emitted from tram travel,the optimization theory was introduced for optimal design of tram wheel cross-sectional shape.Geometric parameters of wheel cross-sectional shape were used as the design variables,and the minimal noises emitted from wheel structural vibration was considered as the objective function,while load strength was considered as constraint condition.Consequently,an effective algorithm was compiled,and the optimal geometric parameters of wheel cross-sectional shape were presented.The results showed that the sound power levels emitted by the optimized wheel were reduced by 30%." @default.
