- W2364604356 abstract "Objective: To study the relationship between the changes of β EP,β-2 MG's concentrations in serum after asphyxia neonate and hypoxia cerebral damage (HCD) and renal damage. Methods: 15 serious cases and 12 mild cases with 10 cases as control group were tested on concentrations of β EP, β-2 MG in serum by the method of radio immunity. They were separately tested in 8～12 h and 72～96 h after birth. Results: The β EP,β-2 MG values of asphyxia group were obviously risen, there were total difference among each group by analysis of variance P0.01～0.001. In 8～12 h there were significant difference between the mild asphyxia group and the cntrol group P0.01～0.001, the same difference as between the serious cases and the control group P0.001. There were very significant difference between the HCD group and the nonHCD group P0.001. Conclusion: Asphyxia may lead to the rise of β EP,β-2 MG's concentration in serum, which is correlated with the degree of asphyxia. β EP may take part in the pathological and physiological processes of HCD. The change of β-2 MG's concentration was sensitive to reflect the obstacle of glomerular filtrative rate in early phase, and it is correlated with the degree of renal damage." @default.
