- W2364696722 abstract "Objective To investigate the effect of vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) technique on the management of severe skin and soft tissue defects.Methods One hundred and twenty patients with severe skin and soft tissue dirty defects were divided in two groups,VSD group was treated by the VSD technique(60 patients) and the control group(60 patients) was managed by traditional method.Results In VSD group, wound surface treatment time were 6 ～ 12d with an average of (7.6 ± 1.5)d,skin graft were performed in 45 patients,flap repair in 15 patients;in control group, wound surface treatment time were 12 ～ 20d with an average of (15.6 ± 4.3 ) d, skin graft in 32 patients, flap repair in 28 patients, there were significant differences in times of treatment, the total time of hospitalization between two groups (P 0.01) .And there was a significant difference in curative effect of skin grafting between two groups (P 0.05).Conclusion VSD is superior to the traditional dressing charge for curing the skin and soft tissue detect." @default.
