- W2364924290 abstract "Objective Pulmonary perfusion scoring system was reported useful in post-therapeutic eval- uation in patients with pulmonary thromboembolism(PIE).But the system was not convenient in clinical setting. A modified scoring system was thus designed and evaluated in monitoring the treatment effect of PIE.Methods ~(99)Tc~m-macro-aggregated albumin(MAA)lung imaging was performed pre-and 14 d post-therapy.A total of 46 PTE patients were included.All images were reviewed by two nuclear medicine physicians,using either segment scoring method which introduced by Parker and his cooperators,or abnormal perfusion grade meth- od modified by us.Improvement rate in the lung scan score was calculated via comparing scores pre-and post-treatment.Results The agreement in interpretation of perfusion scans between two physicians were 100%(Kappa=1.0)in left lung and 91.3 %.(Kappa=0.69)in right lung.The Kappa value of the per- fusion scores calculated by the two methods were good(0.657 before and 0.665 after treatment,P＜0.001).A significant positive correlation was found between the two evaluation methods(r=0.770 and 0.771,respectively).The improvement rate calculated with the two evaluation methods was similar(P= 0.128).Conclusion This modified perfusion coring system simplified the segmental scoring method and might be valuable in estimate of the therapy effect." @default.
