- W2364966070 abstract "To try to find the methods of preventing eye injuries by analysing the relative factors of patients of eye injury.Methods By analysing the factors of sex age, profession,place, cause, quality, time going to a doctor, complications and results of 1226 inpatients with eye injury were analysed. Results The ratio of right eye injury and left eye injury was 1∶1.16; ratio of male and female was 4.89∶1; the high incidence was in 10～40 years groups and the peak was 20～30 years of age; the occupational factors in turn were workers, peasants, students and preschool children; the eye injuries were often found in factories, homes and public place; the major causes off injury were foreign bodies; the major quality of injury were ocular contusion and perforating injury of eyeball; the common and important complication were uveitis cataract and hyphema. The bare vision on leaving hospital was 0.05 in 412 eyes (31.16%), enucleation of eyeball is 60 eyes (4.54%), The later to go to a doctor the more man is blind.Conclusion Ocular injury is one of main caused of blindness. The analysis on personage and cause of ocular injury patients show that all eye injuries may be prevented and the prophylaxis may be extremely impontant." @default.
