- W2365088891 abstract "Objective:To study the change of leptin,insulin,thyroxine and growth hormone contents in blood and their relation with the development of children's simple obesity.Methods:40 normal children and 40 simple obesity children aged 10～15 years old were investigated.The contents of leptin,insulin,thyroxine and growth hormone were detected by radioimmunoassay.Results:The contents of leptin,insulin in simple obesity children were significantly higher than those in normal children(P0.01),the content of growth hormone in simple obesity children was significantly lower than that in normal children(P0.01).The content of T3 in simple obesity children was significantly higher than that in normal children(P0.01).There was no significantly difference in the content of T4 between simple obesity children and normal children.Conclusion:There are counteraction to leptin and endocrine disturbance in obesity children.Leptin,insulin,thyroxine can promote the development of children's obesity.Obesity leads to the decrease of growth hormone,which affects the growth and development of children." @default.
