- W2365442953 abstract "With the development of the worldwide industries, environmental pollutions regarding the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide, which is the ultimate oxidative product of carbon-containing substance (or compound), have aroused extensive attention of the world. The most promising approach to restrain its emission, as suggested, is that carbon dioxide could be used as a monomer for alkenes' inversion and reutilization. A theoretical maximal yield, and also better understanding of the reaction system, can be achieved from the thermodynamic investigation in chemical reaction engineering, which will thereby provide a favorable evaluation of the chemical catalyst effect and further guide the exploitation of catalysts. The balanceable reaction system for hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to light alkenes was thermodynamically investigated. The thermodynamic parameters for the catalytic system were solved by means of mathematics, and the relations between equilibrium constitute, temperature, pressure and carbon/hydrogen ratio in the reaction system were analyzed. The result showed that the maximum conversion of carbon dioxide falls in 69%~71%." @default.
