- W2366013014 abstract "A close-couple SCR catalytic converter was developed and optimized with CFD simulation and experiments to tackle the problem of serious urea crystallization in conventional SCR catalytic converter.The results show that the close-couple SCR catalytic converter can enhance full mixture of urea droplets with exhaust gas,thus improving urea distribution uniformity and atomization at medium and low engine load condition.The new converter increases thermal decomposition rate of urea and concentration distribution coefficient of NH3 by 13.1% and 7.2% respectively,effectively preventing urea crystallization;and significantly improves NOxconversion efficiency by 2.7%in ESC and 4.0%in ETC respectively compared with the traditional one." @default.
