- W2366802788 abstract "106 weanling piglets are divided into two groups at random, with 54 piglets in group A weanling at the age of 14 days, while 52 in group B at the age of 21 days.Under the condition of eating completely freely, the piglets'appetite, number of times for eating, eating intervals and interest in different types of fodder are observed and recorded. The result shows that: the appetite in the second day apparently surpasses that in the first day after weanling, and there is a distinct increase in the appetite during the 2-5 days;the average daily appetite in the first two weeks for the two groups is comparatively small, with a slight increase in the third week and a distinct increase in the fourth week;the number of times of eating for piglets at all stages in daytime is higher than that at night, the number of times of the piglets'eating at night and in the whole day decreases gradually as the days increasing, while the eating intervals become longer;piglets at all stages are fond of thick fodder and the duration for eating thick fodder is the shortest." @default.
