- W2367462984 abstract "Objective:To observe the effect of octapeptide somatostatin analouge (octreotide,SMS) on the ultrastructure of K562 leukemic cell line.Methods:Treated cultured K562 leukemic cell line with various concentration of SMS in vitro,using transmission electron microscope to observe the ultrastructural changes of K562 cells induced by SMS.Results:In control group there were many well|developed organellae in the cytoplasm;whereas in SMS group organellage appeared various changes dependent on the dose of SMS,in which most significant changes occurred with 10 -7 mol/L～10 -6 mol/L.Marginization of mitoplasm along membrane and nucleonic fragments and vacuolar degeneration,hyperchromation,vacuolar degeneration and pulpiform change of mitochondrion were seen.Conclusion:SMS effected the proliferation of K562 cells and induced the typical ultrastructural changes of apoptosis of leukemic cell." @default.
