- W2367550213 abstract "Objective It is to compare the safety, comfortability and practicality of propofol and propofol combined with atropine in colonoscopy. Methods 60 patients needing colonoscopy were divided into group A and group B. Each group had 30 cases. Group A was given propofol 1~2 mg/kg and group B was given propofol 1～2 mg/kg combined with atropine 0.5 mg by intravenous injection slowly. Colonoscopy was done when the patients had no consciousness and lash reflex. Propofol (30～50 mg) was added during the operation according to requirement. SBP, HR, Sp(O_2), analepsia time and propofol dosage were monitored continuously and recorded before, during and after operation. Results Compared with those before colonoscopy, HR in group A decreased significantly after anesthesia (P0.01), but that in group B had no significant changes (P0.05). SBP in the both groups decreased obviously during the operation compared with that before anesthesia (P0.01). The propofol dosage in group A was much less than that in group B (P0.01). The patients in both groups had no unwell memory of the operation after the colonoscopy was completed. Conclusion Propofol can relieve the distress of colonoscopy. Propofol combined with atropin can relieve the untoward reaction of cardiovascular system and decrease the propofol dosage." @default.
