- W2367567493 abstract "Objective To investigate local types of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)and characteristics of their distribution in the infection of gastroduodenal,so as to provide theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of Hp.MethodsThe local patients, who came to hospital because of epigastric discomfort and underwent colonoscopy examination from Sep,2006to Feb,2007,were selected as the study object.Conventional stomachoscopy and biopsy of diseased tissue under stomachoscopy were conducted to diagnose the gastroduodenal diseases.Meanwhile, immunoblot was used to test the cytotoxin-associated gene A(CagA),vacuolating cytotoxin A(VacA)and urea enzyme antibodies of Hp,and those with positive Ure were confirmed to have infected with Hp.According to the different expressions of CagA and VacA,combinations of them were divided into typeⅠ(CagA+/VacA+),intermediate type(CagA-/VacA+)and typeⅡ(CagA-/VacA-).Then,distribution and correlation of different bacterial types in the source gastroduodenal diseases were statistically analysed. Results The Hp detection rate was 42.09%(362/860),among which typeⅠ,intermediate type and typeⅡ accounted for 60.77%,12.43% and 26.80% respectively. All patients were proved to have chronic gastritis and there were significant differences in the distribution of bacterial types in their source diseases(P 0.01).The constituent ratios of gastric antrum mucosa moderate-to-severe inflammation caused by typeⅠ,intermediate type and typeⅡbacterial strain infection were 97.53%(79/81),69.57%(16/23)and 44.16%(34/77),respectively.Moreover,differences in the distribution of bacterial types with histopathological changes including active state of chronic gastritis, intestinal metaplasia and intraepithelial neoplasia, etc.were statistically significant(P 0.01).Conclusion TypeⅠvirulent strain of Hp infection is the main infection in Baise patients with gastroduodenal diseases.Bacterial antibody typing can be used to predict the severity of gastroduodenal diseases as well as the reference index of its prognosis." @default.
