- W2367760311 abstract "The concentrations of 19 trace elements (Au, Ag, As, Sb, Cu, Pb, Zn, Sn, Bi, Mo, Co, Ni, Mn, Cr, V, Ti, Ba, Rb and Sr) were determined for 503 samples collected from the surface and four sections of underground mine in Qiansunjia gold deposit, ranging from metamorphic rocks, granites, altered rocks, quartz vein and orebody. Mining vein geochemical profiles of all 19 elements were compiled using Suffer software. Geochemical zoning was calculated following the Gregorian's zoning index calculation method. Based on these calculations, a three-dimensional zonation pattern of the primary halo was established. Geological and geochemical date show that the concentrations of metallogenic elements, i. e. Au, Ag, As, Cu, Pb, Bi, Mo, Sb, increase with increasing alteration, in the order of granite → potash feldspathization granite → sericite-quartz alteration granite → sericite-quartz rock → quartz vein or silicified zones → gold ore. Nonetheless, the metallogenic activity mainly occurred in the silicified period after sericite-quartz alteration. The distribution of metallogenic elements, e. g., Au, Ag, As, Cu, Pb, Sn, B, Mo, Co, Ni, is discrete, covering a large range with multi-peaks. Gold and Ag have high concentration peaks with dramatic metallogenic enrichment. Three metallogenic stages have been identified: quartz-gold-pyrite, quartz-gold-multi-metal sulfide and quartz-carbonate. F1 factor (Au, Ag, As, Co, Ni, Sn, Bi) is the element combination of the main metallogenic period. F3 factor (Mo, Sb) and F5 factor (Cu, Zn) reflect multi-period of metallogenic hydrothermal activities. The F4 factor (Rb, Sr, Ba) has an important representative significance: the distributions of Rb and Sr, Ba are antagonized. The low value zones of Sr, Ba and Ca, and correspondingly high value zone of Rb and K, are coincident with the high value zone of Au and Ag, which indicates that the potash feldspathization and sericite alteration of feldspar minerals in the granite are important to mineralization. Geochemical profiles of ore veins show high value zones inclining southwestward, which is consis- tent with the lateral trending of orebodies. The high value zones of Au and Ag are wide, consecutive and not closed up and down ends. The distribution and zonation characteristics of primary halos and the size of orebodies on the ground suggest that it is a shallow denudated deposit, such that might extends to further depths. The zonation sequences of primary halos from the top is (Hg2, Sr, Ba, Rb)→(Au, Ag, Sn, Mo, Cu)→(Zn, Pb)→ (Sb, Mn) →(Ni, V, Co, As, Hg1, Bi). The high value zonations of As, Sb and Hg are located in the middle and underside, which is likely to be the head halo of the concealed orebody." @default.
