- W2367776354 abstract "Objective To investigate the protective effect of Shi wu wei luo di ming mu wan of Tibetan medicine on protective effects of lens epithelial cells(LECs)of ultraviolet-induced cataract in rats.Methods A total of 90 SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group,model group,positive drug group(pirenoxine eye drops),Tibetan medicine at high dose group,Tibetan medicine at low dose group and preventive group.After ultraviolet-induced cataract models in rats,treatment was taken.Rats in preventive group were taken drug treatment at the first day after modelling.Levels of antioxygen protein gene expression in LECs were detected at 50 days,70 days and 90 days after drug treatment by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction.Microstructures of LECs were observed under transmission electron microscope,and to further determine the protective effect of Shi wu wei luo di ming mu wan of Tibetan medicine on LECs of ultraviolet-induced cataract.Results After using different doses of Shi wu wei luo di ming mu wan of Tibetan medicine to treat cloudy lens,level of antioxygen protein gene expression increased with the time,and the level of cell injury decreased under transmission electron microscope.The effect of treatment group(The level of antioxygen protein gene expression was 29.00±0.05 at 50 days in Tibetan medicine at high dose group)was better than that of positive drug group,and the effect of preventive group was the most obvious.Conclusions Shi wu wei luo di ming mu wan of Tibetan medicine has protective effect on LECs of ultraviolet-induced cataract.It is with preventive and curative effect." @default.
