- W2368107288 abstract "Fertilizer is an important resource for agricultural development, and nitrogen fertilizer is a most important fertilizer variety in China. The major factors influencing fertilizer supply include domestic production and import and export. Key factors affecting the amount of fertilizer demand includes regional crop types, planting acreage of crop and application amount of different fertilizer variety by crops. Based on the factors affecting fertilizer demand and supply balance, this paper focuses on the demand and supply balance of urea and ABC. The results indicate that the nitrogenous amount supplied by urea makes up 50%～55% of the total nitrogenous amount, however, the proportion of nitrogenous amount from ABC in the total nitrogenous amount droped from 38.7% in 1995 to 24% in 2003. In addition, the proportion of nitrogenous amount from singe-nitroenous to the total nitrogenous fell down from 96.2% in 1995 to 87% in 2003. At present, the supply of urea exceeds its demand, but the demand and supply of ABC stay balanced. The analysis on national nitrogenous demand shows that the average urea usage per ha is 84.96kg in China. The regions with urea usage exceeding national average, cover urea major producers such as Yunan, Ningxia, Hainan, Guizhou, etc., both urea and agricultural producers such as Xinjiang, Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning, Anhui, etc., and Noutheast and Nouth China, such as Fujian and Guangdong provinces. According to the goal of China fertilizer industry development, the nitrogenous variety structure will continuously be improved, so that the proportion of nitrogenous will reach 70%, urea demand will go up. Therefore, the situation of urea supply over demand is a temporary case recently." @default.
