Specimens: 7 deutonymphs. 3 were collected off Remus flavipe-ctus Milne-Edwards, on May 11. 1980, from Sandu County, Guizhou Province; l off Cricetulus longicaudata Milne-Edwards, on July 6. 1982, from Geermu City, another off Ochotona cansus Lyon, on Aug. 26.1982, from Henan County, Qinghai Province; and 2 off beetle of Scarabaeid-ae, on Nov. 1. 1983, from Binchuan County, Yunnan Province.2. Parasitus fimestorum (Berlese, 1904)The first record in China. Specimens: 2 deutonymphs were collected off beetle of Scara-baeidae, on Sept. 1. 1983, from Binchuan County, Yunnan Province.3. Parasitus copridis Costa, 1963The first record in China. Specimen: l deutonymph was collected off an unidentified mouse, on Aug. 4. 1984, from Zhenyuan County, Guizhou Province.4. Cornigamasus lunaris (Berlese, 1882)The first record ia China. Specimeus: 6 deutonymohs. 2 were collected off Stomoxys sp., on May 15. 1982; 2 off Bercaea haemorrhoidalis (Fallen, 1816), on May 17. 1983; 2 off an un-identified fly, on June 14. 1983, all from Binchuan County, Yunnan Province. 5. Parasitellus crinitus (Oudemans, 1903)The first record in China. Specimen: l female was collected off Ochoiona cansus Lyon, on Aug. 8. 1982, from Henan County, Qinghai Province.6. Parasitellus fuconan (De Geer, 1778)The first record in China. Specimens: l female was collected off Ochotona cansus Lyon, on Aug. 8. 1982; l deutonymph off Bombus sp., on Sept. 14. 1982, all from Henan County, Qinghai Province.7. Parasitellus talparum (Oudemans, 1913)The first record in China. Specimens: 6 deutonymphs and l male. 2 dentonymphs were collected off Marmota himalayana Hodgsoa, on June 11. 1982, from Henan County; other 4 and l male were collected in nest of Pitymys irenc Thomas, on Sept. 21. 1983, from Huzhu County, Qinghai Province.8. Vulgarogamasus zhenningensis Gu et Wang, sp. nov. (figs. 1-8)Hololype ♀, paratype 1♀ were collected off Rattus norvigicus Berkenhout, on Nov. 11.1982, from Zhenning County (26.0°N, 105.7°E), Guizhou Province, deposited in Department of Parasitology, Guiyang Medical College.This new species resembles Parasitus hyalinus Willman, but with larger body; D, similar to D2 and D4; broader anterior margin of podnotal plate; pilus basalis and inner seta on fe-mur of palpus with more branches; trochanter of leg IV bearing a spine-like process; lateral prongs of tectum shorter than the central prong.9. Vulgarogamasus qinghaiensis Gu et Yang, sp. nov. (figs. 9-15)Holotype ♀ was collected off Marmota himalayana Hodgson, on Apr. 6. 1981, from Gang-ca County (37.3°N, 100.1°E), Qinghai Province deposited in Research Institute of Endemic Di-sease Control, Qinghai Province.This new species is similar to Vulgarogamasus oudemansi (Berlese, 1904), but distinguished from the latter by: Mi simple; bearing one more setal pair on opisthonotal plate; genital plate without lateral angle; tectum with smaller lateral prongs and wider base of central prong.10. Vulgarogamasus plumosus Gu et Yang, sp. nov. (figs. 16-21)Holotype deutonymph was collected off Apodcmus speciosus Temminck, on Aug. 30. 1982, from Henan County (34.8°N, 101.5°E), Qinghai Province, deposited in Research Institute of Endemic Disease Control, Qinghai Province.This new species has the following characters differed from all known species of this ge-nus: Pilus basalis pipe-like; tectum only one prong and 5" @default.
