- W2368179440 abstract "Objective To evaluate the treatment results of our twelve primary orbital lymphoma.Methods From 1958 1997, 12 patients with primary orbital lymphoma were treated. Eight cases had Stage I lesions and four had Stage Ⅱ lesions. Ten patients received radiotherapy alone (30～60 Gy,4～8 weeks) and 2 patients received radiotherapy plus chemotherapy.Results Local control rate was 100% and 5 year survival was 86%. Literature is reviewed. About 75% of orbital lymphoma is pathologically low grade. Local irradiation could nearly give 100% local control with 62%～93% 5 year survival rate. Distant relapse is about 20%.Conclusions Carefully planned radiotherapy with lens shielding is an effective and safe treatment in the management of orbital lymphoma. Radiation doses of 30～35?Gy for low grade lesions and 36～40?Gy for intermediate and high grade lesions are recommended." @default.
