- W2368270718 abstract "Objective The goal of the present study was to investigate the inhibitory effect of angiotensinⅡreceptor type 1 blocker on the rhythmic oscillatory vasomotion in resistance vessel obtained from spontaneously hypertensive rat(SHR).Methods The rats aged 18 months were divided into three groups:SHRs control group(n =6),telmisartan group[n=6,5 mg/(kg·d)]and imidapril group[n=6,3 mg/(kg·d)].After telmisartan and imidapril treatment for sixteen weeks,rings of second branch of superior mesenteric arteries were rapidly isolated and suspended in organ chambers,which contained 5 mL PBS solution(37℃) aerated with 95%O_2 and 5%CO_2 and connected to force transducers(Danish Myo Technology,Denmark) for isometric tension recording.Different concentrations of acetylcholine(Ach) and nitroglycerine(NTG) were added to the chamber respectively and the change of isometric tension was recorded.Rhythmic oscillatory vasomotion induced by AngⅡ(10~(-6) mol/L) or NE(10~(-5) mol/L)were investigated.Results 1) Telmisartan and imidapril reduce blood pressure significantly(P0.01); 2) Telmisartan and imidapril enhanced endothelium-dependent relaxation of the rings induced by Ach(10~(-6)-10~(-4) mol/L) as compared with control(P0.01).Telmisartan,but not imidapril,accentuated,endothelium-independent relaxation of the rings evoked by NTG(10~(-5) mol/L) and reduced the magnitude of rhythmic oscillatory vasomotion induced by AngⅡ(10~(-6) mol/L) or NE(10~(-5) mol/L)(P0.01).Conclusion The results indicate that both telmisartan and imidapril reduce blood pressure of SHR significantly;telmisartan enhance endothelium-dependent and endothelium-independent vascular relaxation,with attenuating rhythmic oscillatory vasomotion in mesenteric artery. Although imidapril improve the endothelium-dependent vascular relaxation significantly but has little effect on rhythmic oscillatory vasomotion in mesenteric artery." @default.
