- W2368596885 abstract "On the basis of the meteorological data collected from four stations during the period from 1961 to 2005 over the Prefecture of Bortala in Xinjiang, employing the non-parametric Mann-Kendall rank test approach, the spatial-temporal change characteristics were analyzed for the temperature-defined growing season, the non-frost season, the active cumulative temperature of more than 10 ℃,the averaged temperature from August to September and the scorching date during summer. The results show:(1) In the upstream of Bortala River, the temperature-defined growing season shortened 7.8 d or so in the 25 a,prolonged 12.4 d or so in the Midstream of Bortala River and 6.7d or so in the south of Ebinur Lake in the 45 a.(2) The ending date of frost remarkably appeared in advance in the upstream of Bortala River and the period of non-frost prolonged 17.0 d or so in the 25 a,while the date of the first frost delayed outstandingly in the midstream of Bortala River where the period of non-frost prolonged 15.8 d or so,and the period of non-frost prolonged 13.5 d or so in the south of Ebinur Lake in the 45 a.(3) The first day of the active cumulative temperature-defined more than 10 ℃ came earlier, the end-day came late in a large scale so that the active cumulative temperature-defined of more than 10 ℃ increased widely, but the tendency is significant only in the midstream of Bortala River. The period of the active cumulative temperature-defined of more than 10 ℃ prolonged 16.5 d or so in the upstream of Bortala River in the 25 a,17.6 d or so in the midstream of the Bortala River and 4.5 d or so in the south of the Ebinur Lake in 40 a.(4) The frequencies of the scorching weather increased remarkably at the rate of 0.8~1.1 d·a-1 in the south of Ebinur Lake in June,July and August, while an annual frequency increased strikingly at the rate of 3.2 d·a-1 or so.(5) The averaged temperature from August to September raised at the rate of 0.20 ℃·a-1 in the upstream of Bortala River where the tendency was not significant,0.40 ℃·a1 in the midstream of Bortala River and 0.17 ℃·a-1 in the south of Ebinur Lake.(6) Though the increment of the agricultural heat was a little in the centre of high value, the area of high value enlarged, and the inter-annual amplitude increased with the distance from the centre." @default.
