- W2369147515 abstract "OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the utilization of antibiotics in outpatient prescription in our hospital.METHODS:A total of 12 000 outpatient prescriptions were randomly selected from our hospital during Jan.～Jun.in 2010.The utilization of antibiotics was analyzed statistically.RESULTS:Of the total 12 000 prescriptions reviewed,4 352 prescriptions(36.27%)adopted antibiotics.Combined utilization of antibiotics was 615 cases(14.13%.) In administration route,intravenous injection accounted for 51.42% and oral route for 34.51%.The utilization ratio of antibiotics was high in pediatrics and internal department,consisting of 38.21% and 29.50% respectively.Cephalosporins took the lead in the utilization ratio of antibiotics,accounting for 62.36%.CONCLUSION:The utilization of antibiotics in outpatient department of our hospital is basically rational.However,it remains to be further improved to enhance safety,efficacy and economy of medication." @default.
