- W2369156722 abstract "Objective To discuss whether the combination of MRI pre-,post-enhanced scan parameters and dynamic enhanced characteristic can differentiate clear cell renal cell carcinoma(CCRCC)and renal angiomyolipoma(AML).Methods Twenty-nine patients with surgically proved CCRCC and AML were retrospectively analyzed.They were examined by conventional dynamic contrast-enhanced 3.0T MR imaging.Signal intensity(SI)of fat-suppression T2WI,in-and opposed phase T1WI and extent of enhancement were assessed quantitatively.We drew ROC curve and according to the sensitivity, specificity and Youden index,determined T2WI SI ratio of tumor and renal parenchyma threshold,percentage of in-and opposed phase SI index(SII)threshold,the arterial-to delayed-enhancement ratio threshold.Results In our study,T2WI SI,SII,the arterial-to delayed-enhancement ratio and dynamic contrast-enhanced pattern of CCRCC were significantly different from those of AML.CCRCC had higher T2WI SI ratio and arterial-to delayed-enhancement ratio than AML,while AML had higher SII than CCRCC.The extent of arterial phase enhancement is greater than the delayed phases in CCRCC. But the extent of arterial phase enhancement is similar to the delayed phases in AML.The time-signal curve of the dynamic enhanced imaging was drew according to the characteristics of the dynamic enhancement.Dynamic enhanced curve showed two types,one was outflow type,including 16cases in CCRCC,6cases in AML;the other was platform type,including 1case in CCRCC,2cases in AML.Conclusion In our study,T2WI SI,SII,the arterial-to delayed-enhancement ratio of CCRCC and AML are significant difference.The combination of T2WI SI,SII,arterial-to delayed-enhancement ratio can differentiate CCRCC and AML.The corresponding thresholds were 0.738,9.170%and 1.224,respectively.Dynamic enhanced time-signal curve is significantly different." @default.
