- W2369741873 abstract "Objective:To explore the value of immature oocytes derived from controlled ovarian hyperstimulation(COH) cycle and if artificial activation can improve the development outcomes of fetuses stemming from the oocytes.Methods:226 immature oocytes derived from COH cycle received in vitro maturation(IVM),then insemination through intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI) was conducted when the oocytes developed to MⅡ oocytes;after insemination, the oocytes were divided into non-activation group and activation group randomly, the oocytes in non-activation group were shifted into G1 for culture without any treatment;while the oocytes in activation group were treated with 7% anhydrous alcohol for 6 minutes(artificial activation);the fertilization rates, the cleavage rates, the rates of high-quality embryo, the formation rates of blastosphere and the rates of high-quality blastosphere in the two groups were compared. Results:The mature rates in vitro in non-activation group and activation group were 83.9%(94/112) and 82.5%(94/114),respectively;the fertilization rates in non-activation group and activation group were 80.9%(76/94) and 76.6%(72/94),respectively;the rates of high-quality embryo in non-activation group and activation group were 14.3%(10/70) and 25.0%(18/72),respectively;the formation rates of blastosphere in non-activation group and activation group were 8.6%(6 /70) and 16.7%(12/72),respectively,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).But the cleavage rate in activation group(100%,72 /72) was significantly higher than that in non-activation group(92.1%,70/76)(P0.05).The rate of high-quality blastosphere in activation group(83.3%,10/12) was significantly higher than that in non-activation group(0%,0/6)(P0.01).Conclusion:The immature oocytes in COH cycle can achieve a satisfactory fertilization rate and early embryo development potential after IVM,artificial activation technique provide a new method for taking full advantage of immature oocytes obtained during COH cycle." @default.
