- W2370147246 abstract "This article,by using interviews and questionnaires,aims to probe into the current professional development of special education teachers in Anhui Province.The results show the following: the special education teachers in Anhui Province show a low level of educational backgrounds,and poor professional accomplishment;insufficient targeted training opportunities;insufficiency in the awareness of academic research and the ability to conduct academic research;and the lack of perceptions of professional identity.The article suggests promoting special education teachers' professional development by the following: opening the undergraduate curriculum on special education,establishing a system of special education teachers' professional qualifications,constructing a training system of special education,intensifying efforts on the research into special education,and building a mechanism of long-term incentives." @default.
