- W2371431567 abstract "This paper is aimed at introducing our study on the impact of the mining speed of the deep mine fully-mechanized working face on the mining quake disasters. As is known, the mining quake disaster is by nature a kind of earthquake that would break up in a mine, which is a new topic of geological hazards to be in underground mining, characterized by the shallow epicenters but great intensity, lower grades but heavy disasters. And,therefore,it is essential and prerequisite for searching of the radical causes as a mining seismic hazard in hoping to find ways to prevent and control. Just for the said reasons, this paper has adapted the SOS seismic monitoring systems from Poland to analyze the frequency of seismic activities and the energy release validated regularities of the seismic activities in the coal mining practice. To be accurate,we have taken our study sample, which took place in No. 1305 fully-mechanized working face with high extraction height and deep mining activities in Dongtan Mine,Shandong. The results of our analysis of such impacts indicate that the strong mining quakes of the fully-mechanized working face are characteristic of low energy release and low energy accumulation of seismic activities, along with the trend being strong earthquake. The strong mine earthquakes often take place during the high frequency and high energy period, with the changing cycles positively correlated with the coalface periodic pressure. It can be found that the frequency and energy of mine earthquakes with low energy take place in a positive approximately linear correlation with the mining speed, but those with high energy nonlinearly related mining speed. That is to say,the higher the mining speed, the more frequent and energy the mining earthquakes, and the proportion of relative high energy was obvious higher, and the low energy moving to high energy, and,in turn, the more hazardous risks the mining activities would be brought about. Thus,it can also be concluded that the stability of mining speed has great influence on the frequency and the energy change. In some way,we can say that it is possible to reduce the mining speed so as to increase the controllability of the mining earthquakes." @default.
