- W2371639969 abstract "The sieved multiple bacteria are used for microbial degradation experiment on heavy oil from Qinghai and Xinjiang oilfields. The effects of microbial degradation on crude compositions such as saturated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, gum and asphaltene and their contents are analyzed. The study shows that microbial degradation could clearly improve crude physical properties. The dominant multiple bacteria have been adopted for microbial-stimulated treatment to single well in heavy oil fields of Qinghai and Xinjiang. The results have shown a success ratio of 75% in Qinghai, with average daily incremental production (ADIP) of 8.53%～35.72%, prolonging the hot washing cycle by over 2.3 times; whereas in Xinjiang the ADIP increases from pre-test 2.39 t to post-test 14.196 t, and the test cost by microbial stimulation is lower 3.14 times than that by cyclic steam stimulation. The microbial stimulated oil recovery (MSOR) will bring bright prospect for heavy oil field application." @default.
