- W2371670196 abstract "Objective To know the carrier rate of neisseria meningitides in heathy population in Hefei City during different periods for early warning and forecasting the epidemic situation of epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis.Methods Some students and adults were selected in each kindergarten,primary school,junior school and high school,in each district with random cluster sampling.Results The carrier rate of Neisseria meningitides in heathy people in the early period was 3.05% and 6.0% in midldle period,group B and group C in middle period were higher especially.The survey showed an increase in the carrier rate with the growth trends;the carrier rate of Neisseria meningitides in students and service workers was higher in middle period,especialy group C in students.The immunization history of healthy population had no direct impact on the carrier rate.Conclusions The carrier rate of Neisseria meningitides in heathy population in epidemic period is higher than that in the early period,especially group C.The older students and service workers have higher carrier rate.All of these results are in line with the characteristics of the epidemic situation in the city.Good control measures should be taken in these emphasis population." @default.
