- W2372154229 abstract "The purpose of this experiment was to explore the relationship between calcium signal transduction and expression of c-fos and c-myc in broiler's cardiac muscle cell(CMC) induced by hypoxia.Hypoxia is the main inducement of ascites syndrome(AS).CMC hypertrophy were the important cause of AS.The effect of calcium signal transduction on the oncogene c-fos and c-myc expression in CMC induced by hypoxia was observed by immunohistochemistry,in situ hybridization and image analysis methods. The results showed that the antagonism of calcium channel such as verapamil(V),nifedipine(N),cyclosporin A(C) restrained such an expression(c-fos mRNA:normal oxygen 149.6±22.4,hypoxia205.4±57.6,hypoxia+V151.3±20.1,hypoxia+N154.5±25.2,hypoxia+C166.5±22.1;c-myc mRNA:normal oxygen155.2±25.7;hypoxia 197.4±26.2,hypoxia+V160.5±19.4,hypoxia+N171.3±25.4,hypoxia+C158.9±23.6)and the antagonism restrained c-fos and c-myc protein expression(c-fos protein:normal oxygen 159.1±37.1,hypoxia 240.3±49.6,hypoxia+V 165.2±52.2,hypoxia+N166.5±49.8,hypoxia+C190.8±33.6;c-myc protein:normal oxygen149.6±24.9,hypoxia 236.3±55.4,hypoxia+V178.9±42.1,hypoxia+N 174.4±36.3,hypoxia+C164.8±49.5).It is suggested that verapamil and nifedipine can significantly restrain the c-fos and c-myc expression in CMC,indicating that calcium signal transduction is an important factor for the development of AS.And that cyclosporin A can significantly restrain c-fos and c-myc expression in CMC,indicating that the Ca2+/CaM-CaN path is important to c-fos and cmyc expression, which is necessary to CMC hypertrophy. From above results the conclusion can be obtained that calcium signal transduction plays an important role in the development of AS." @default.
