- W2372468350 abstract "[Objective]To explore the genetic toxicity to young female workers exposed to dimethylformamide.[Methods]Eighty-six female workers exposed to dimethylformamide were divided into different groups by levels of accumulative exposure,the eight-hour time weighted average(8 h-TWA)and the working age,and 0.3 ml of blood were collected from each of them and cultured for 72 hours for examination of lymphocytic micronucleus as a genotoxicity measure.[Results]Micronucleus rate in those exposed to levels of accumulative exposure,8 h-TWA and the working age were significantly higher in comparison with unexposed controls(P0.01).The dose-response relationship was significant in the above three dimethylformamide concentrations.There were significant differences between the 2 years group,2～5 years group and the 5 years group(P0.01),but no differences between 2 years group and 2～5 years group(P0.05).There were significant differences between the 100 mg/m3 group,100～200 mg/m3 group and the 200 mg/m3 group(P0.01),but no differences between 100 mg/m3 group and 100～200 mg/m3 years group(P0.05).There were significant differences between the 20 mg/m3 group,20～40 mg/m3 group and the 40 mg/m3 group(P0.01),and significant differences between 20 mg/m3 group and 20～40 mg/m3 years group(P0.01).[Conclusion]The genetic damage of dimethylformamide can be found in the exposed youth female workers and environmental monitoring and protection for the exposed workers should be strengthened." @default.
