- W2372749116 abstract "Reforms and the tendency of integration in the financial service industry give impetus to the development of financial conglomerates and financial holding companies (FHC). Changes in China's operational mechanism in the financial industry entail the establishment of standardized, bank-centred FHC. It is argued that China's FHC should adopt the model of complete and pure holding company with conglomeration as its goal of development. As for risk regulation, a diversified mode of regulation should be set up and the traditional means of risk regulation replaced by object-oriented risk analysis. Besides, it is necessary to produce supervisory guidelines for capital adequacy and set up internal fire walls and aid mechanism." @default.
