- W2373322251 abstract "The influence of Ti on the damping capacity of Fe-14Mn,Fe-17Mn and Fe-23Mn(wt%) alloys was studied by means of the amplitude-dependent internal friction technique.The effect of Ti on phase constitution and corrosion resistance was also investigated.The results show that Fe-17Mn alloy possesses a much higher level of damping capacity than that of Fe-14Mn and Fe-23Mn alloys.The addition of approximately 1.0wt% Ti slightly affects the damping capacity of the Fe-Mn alloys.The more austenite transforms to martensite,the better damping capacity is after solution treatment.The corrosion resistance in solution of 3%NaCl is improved by more than two times in all alloys containing Ti." @default.
