- W2374271836 abstract "Objective To explore the influence of different aerobic exercises on free radical metabolism and anti-oxidation system of the elderly people.Methods Sixty retired male teachers weredivided randomly into body building sett group,treading footboard group and hexagram boxing group,twenty persons in each group.And the 3 groups were recieved 12 weeks exercise,3 times per week.The changes of malondialdehyde(MDA),superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione(GSH)and glutathione(GSH-PX) in three groups were determined before exercise prescription was enforced and after the 12-week exercise.Results There were no significant different of MDA,SOD and GSH in three groups before exercising.After 12 weeks exercise,compared with pre-exercising,MDA in body building sett group and treading footboard group were decreased(P0.05),and MDA in hexagram boxing group was not significantly decreased(P0.05).SOD in three groups were significantly increased(P0.01).GSH in three groups were increased,but there were no significant difference(P0.05).GSH-PX in three groups were significantly increased(P0.05).After 12 weeks exercise,there were no significant difference of MDA and SOD(P0.05);GSH-PX in body building!sett group were higher than those in treading footboard group and hexagram boxing group(P0.05),but there was no significant difference between treading footboard group and hexagram boxing group(P0.05).Conclusion The three exercise prescriptions can depress the production of MDA in organism and increase the capability of SOD,GSH and GSH-PX in eliminating free radical.Among the three exercise prescriptions,the effect of body building sett is the most obvious." @default.
