- W2375174865 abstract "Objective:To study the relations between flatfoot and motorability and to provide reference for athletes selection and recruiting soldiers.Methods:Recording the track and field performances of the first 6～8 male and female athletes,totaling 211,from three armed police academies,measuring their foot arch by means of footprint,and conduct statistical analysis on the results.Results:43 13% of the 211 athletes is found to have flatfoot without evident differentia between male and female athletes;nor is there evident different of track and field performances between the flatfooted group and the non-flatfooted group.Of the athletes who rank in the toplist,there are a bit more flatfooted on than their count part,even higher than after.The highest occurrence of flatfoot in different sports is found with long-distance running(50.00% of flatfoot is found in male 3000-meter running group,47 06% in female 1500-meter running group).Conclusion:Flatfoot has no negative influence on sports performance.Therefore flatfoot should not constitute a influential factor in athletes selecting and soldier recruiting.Not all person with flatfoot gets the disease of platypodia,but the disease of platypodia affects the function of motion." @default.
