- W2375194983 abstract "Objective:To evaluate the short and long term effects and safety of HRT plus Fosamax or Fosamax on bone mineral density in peirmenopausal women with primary-osteoporosis.Methods:95 women with peirmenopausal duration less than one year were divided into 3 groups.Group A: 32 cases,mean age 49.4±3.1(43～55)years,after 6 months therapy.Group B : 31 cases,mean age 50.1±2.2(45～55)years,after 6 months to 1 years therapy;Group C: 32 cases,50.0±2.4(45～55) years,after 6 months to 1 yearps therapy.The patients in Group A received HRT(Conjugated estrogen 0.625mg/d×21d+Mebroxyprogesterne acetate 6mg/d×10d)and Fosamax(10mg/d) 6 months.The patients in Group B received Fosamax(10mg/d) 6 months-1 year.Compared with the patients in Group C received elementary calcium(600 mg/d) 6 months-1 year.To observe BMD,FSH,E2,the thickness of endometrium on B ultrasonogrphy etc.Results:Group A :BMD increased markly in the 6th month(P0.05),FSH decrease(P0.01),E2 increased markly(P 0.01) after HRT,the thickness of endometrium in normal scope compared with Group C(P0.05).Group B: BMD increased nonmarkly in the 6th month(P0.05),the thickness of endometrium in normal scope compared with Group C(P0.05),but BMD increased markly in the 1 year(P0.01).Conclusion:Short time HRT and Fosamax,long term Fosamax is an efficacy and safety procedure in treating the primary osteoporosis of peirmenopausal." @default.
