- W2375273603 abstract "Objective To explore the rule of the development of nitrergic neurons in the gastric wall of human fetus. Methods The expression of nitrergic neurons in the gastric wall of human fetus was observed using immunohisto-chemical method. Results At the third month of gestation, some small nitrergic neurons could be seen in the intermuscular plexus, the circular muscle layer and the submucosa of the gastric wall, with weak dyeing, some of which had a short process. Some nitrergic nerve ganglions were observed in the muscle layer or in the submucosa along the side of the circular muscle layer. At the fourth month, the numbers of the nitrergic neurons were increased in the intermuscular nerve plexus, the bodies of a few nitrergic neuron were enlarged, the process lengthened, the positive reaction of nitric oxide synthase increased. The bodies of most nitrergic neuron were small, arranged as funicular form or scattered. A few nitrergic nerve fibers were distributed in the circular muscle layer, and moved paralleling to the muscle fibers. At the fifth month, the nerve fiber bundles were obviously formed surrounding the muscle bundles; At the same time, the bodies of most nitrergic neuron were small, the cytoplasm was slightly stained, a great diversity of the shapes of which were diffusively distributed in the submucosa. Conclusion The growth and development of nitrergic neurons is closely connected with the cells and tissues in the different layers within the gastric wall." @default.
