- W2375341729 abstract "Objective To evaluate the clinical diagnostic value of urine-based survivin test for bladder cancer.Methods Systematically searched through PubMed,EMBASE,Cochrane Library,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database,Chinese Scientific Journal Fulltext Database and so on,totally from 1997 to 2009 for diagnostic trials with detection of urine survivin test for bladder cancer.The methodological quality of the included studies was independently assessed by two reviewers according to the QUADAS items.RevMan5.0 software was used to examine the heterogeneity of the included studies.Meta-Disc software was used to calculate outcome indicators.Results Sixteen studies,totally 1 611 patients,were eligible.Meta-analysis showed that the summary values of sensitivity,specificity and AUC of urine-based survivin test by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and immunohistochemical for bladder cancer were 0.76(95%CI 0.72～0.80),0.86(95%CI 0.82～0.90),0.921 4 and 0.91(95%CI 0.87～0.93),0.93(95%CI 0.89～0.96),0.969 6,respectively.Western Blot also showed relatively high sensitivity and specificity.Conclusions Compared with pathological examination,the diagnostic accuracy of urine-based survivin test using immunohistochemical is relatively higher.It can be used as an important noninvasive examination in early screening and postoperative monitoring of bladder cancer.The diagnostic accuracy of ELISA is lower than immunohistochemical." @default.
