- W2375592322 abstract "【Objective】The objective of this study was to explore the effect of different phosphorus levels on the growth and element absorption of young Newhall navel orange trees, and provide a scientific foundation for the determination of soil phosphorus diagnostic criteria and phosphorus application for the young trees.【Method】Using young Newhall navel orange trees grafted on Poncirus trifoliata(L.) Raf.as materials, the soil culture and nutrient solution experiments were employed to study the effect of different phosphorus levels on the growth and leaf element contents, including plant total biomass, root and shoot biomass,root-shoot ratio, average diameter of root, total length of root, root volume, surface area of root and element contents in leaves.【Result】Under the condition of 25 mg·L-1 phosphorus nutrition level, the development of Newhall navel orange root was the best and the plant total biomass was the largest. The plant total biomass, root and shoot biomass decreased when the phosphorus nutrition level was lower than 25 mg·L-1 or higher than 45 mg·L-1.With the phosphorus nutrition levels increasing, the average root diameter increased until the phosphorus level beyond 85mg·kg-1.Supplied with 25 mg·L-1 phosphorus, root volume or surface area was larger than that of lower than 25 mg·L-1 or higher than 45 mg·L-1 of phosphorus levels. With the phosphorus nutrition level increasing, the elements contents of P,Ca,Mg,Mn and Cu increased, but when the phosphorus nutrition level was extremely low or high, the contents of P,Mg,Mn and Cu would be deficient or excessively accumulative. In addition, there was a parabola relationship between the contents of N,K,Fe,Zn,and B elements and the phosphorus nutrition level. And elements absorption of N,K,Fe,Zn,and B was inhibited when the phosphorus nutrition level was extremely low or high.【Conclusion】 In the subacid yellow soil, phosphorus level of 25 mg·kg-1 to 45 mg·kg-1 could meet the demand for plant growth and balance the other elements absorption of the Newhall navel orange young tree, and beyond that, some adverse effects will occur." @default.
