- W2375698970 abstract "In order to understand the distribution of typhoon precipitation in Jiangxi Province and its contribution to rainfall,and evaluate quantitatively its influence on water resources this article reveals spatiotemporal distribution of typhoon by using the observational data of typhoon from 1951 to 2005 based on spatial interpolation,trend analysis,case analysis and others methods.The results indicate:(1) Typhoon rainfall abides basically by decreased distribution from south to north.(2) Typhoon bring about rainfall which accounts for only 1.9%～9.0% of the annual total rainfall,but it makes a greater contribution to rainfall resources for some regions.(3) The heavy rain caused by typhoons has a significant impact on local river and reservoirs.The water level of local river always has a rapid and substantial fluctuation process.But through the regulation of reservoir,the water level fluctuation range will be adjustable.(4) From July to August,the richest rainfall is brought about by typhoon in Jiangxi Province,where weather is heat and drought under subtropical high.Typhoon is beneficial to semi-late rice and late rice and compensates for precipitation deficit in these regions." @default.
