- W2376064108 abstract "Objective To study a pollution accident of drinking water source in Guangxi. Methods Combing field investigation and test in the laboratory, the water samples were investigated, determined and evaluated according to the Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water (2001), CJ/T206-2005, and GB5749-85. Results In this tap water factory, samples were taken from the water source (water surface down 0.2 m depth), the entering water (water surface down 6 m depth), and the factory supplied water respectively to detect the various items; the chroma was between 15～100, trubidity was between 0.72～17, with slight fishy smell, iron content 0.11～2.60 mg/L, manganese 0.02～0.57 mg/L, chloride 4.29～4.56 mg/L, ammonia 0.09～0.17 mg/L, and sulfate 1.14 mg/L. Drawing the water from entering water spot of 3.5 m depth, all the required inspective items of the samples were fitted with the criteria except residue chlorine. Conclusions The event of drinking water pollution might be due to the reduced source water pool, the resulted insufficient self-clean and oxygen supplementary ability. In addition, there are 2 net aquaria in the 1,000 m upstream of this factory water source, organic matter from feed decomposition increases oxygen comsumption, and the drawing water spot is too near the bottom of the reservoir are all the unfavorable factors." @default.
