- W2376080984 abstract "Viaducts are widely used in the modern high speed railway construction.The research on the velocity affecting the aerodynamic characteristic of the high speed train running on the viaduct under the cross wind can provide reference for attaining the train speed limit and ensuring train's safety.Using the computational fluid dynamics method,the numerical research on the effect of the train running velocity changing on its aerodynamic characteristics when the cross wind speed is given has been made.The calculation precision has been obtained with the suitable meshing,selecting appropriate turbulent model and adopting the right boundary conditions.The simulation results show that there is negative lifting force on the whole train.With the increase of the train running speed,the total lifting force decreases gradually and the total rolling moment increases gradually.In order to improve the drive performance and ensure economically running,the resistance is decreased by taking the following measures.For the head and rear train,the pressure resistance is decreased by changing the exterior shape.While for the middle train,the viscosity resistance is reduced by improving the film roughness." @default.
