- W2376116398 abstract "Tobunderstand the physical fitness status of Qiang Nationality who lives in poor jumping-off areaand provide the scientific base for promotingthe Fitness forAll plan in minority and poor area,thlrty seven hundreds Qiang people(20 tO 69 years old)Of Mao County were cluster sampled randomly for this study.The indexes Of fitness measurement were according tO 2005 Working Handbook of National Physical Fitness Monitor.The results showed that the mean values of fitness evaluation,physique,physical function and fitness of Qiang people were better than those of Sichuan people,especially very significantly in young adults.However,some indexes Of Qiang people decreased obviously with aging.The results suggest that the physical fitness of Qiang Nationality is good in spite of the bad living condition,and the characteristics of environment and nationality should be considered for the popularization of fitness training." @default.
