- W2376173341 abstract "Dongxi gas field, one of the earliest discovered old gas fields in the eastern Sichuan Basin, are incomplete in geologic data and have not been systematically studied. In order to better carry out cooperative development of the low-efficiency gas reservoirs and tap its resource potentials, it is necessary to analyze, summarize and study the geologic features of the low-efficiency gas reservoirs in the Triassic Jialingjiang Formation of this gas field. Based on an analysis of the dynamic and static data, it is believed that the gas reservoirs in the Jialingjiang Formation are characterized by vertical multilayered payzones, lateral zonation of deliverability, and multiple pressure systems. Quantitative methods are used, for the first time, to demonstrate the contribution of fractures to enhancing poroperm characteristics of the carbonate gas reservoirs in south of the eastern Sichuan Basin. Ideas are presented for future production potential tapping. The northern block with moderate permeability and the top block with high permeability have entered into the late stage of potential tapping, thus current abandoned wells and low-efficiency wells should be checked and a scientific recovery process should be formulated. While in the southern block with moderate to low permeability, future focus should be selecting favorable well locations, increasing gas recovery rate and boosting productivity as high as possible. Meanwhile, proposals of accelerating exploration and development are also presented for the buried structure encountered for the first time in the western Dongxi." @default.
